Bill Pelser

Managing Director and CEO

Mr Bill Pelser has more than 30 years of active working experience in Africa, as CEO of Saracen (Uganda), ICV (Uganda), TOPSIG (DRC) and ICV (TZ).

Bill started his career in the military in the maintenance training unit and advanced to Company Commander – Lt. in 1981. He was recruited for the Special Forces Unit and thereafter the Reconnaissance Regiment.

He built Saracen to a Multi-million US$ company employing more than 5000 people directly and a further 1500 people indirectly in Africa and the Middle East. Bill also established ICV, TOPSIG and other smaller concerns, predominantly in DRC, Croatia, Kosovo, Uganda, Angola and Tanzania.

Bill is considered a Leadership Mentor and Master Trainer in Senior management planning and administration, Business planning, Logistical planning, Operations planning, Financial planning, Project management, Risk assessments, EOD quality assurance, Landmine Clearance, Marketing and Negotiation skills

Dr Reuphillan Kasselman is a seasoned executive with multi-disciplinary experience in all aspects of strategic and operational disciplines and specialised expertise in strategy, shared services, leadership, and business optimisation. Responsible for Talent and Technology Development, Reuphillan has experience in various industries and operated as a Management Consultant across functional areas since 1999.

Some of her roles include CEO of Afriski and Leasure (Lesotho) and Programme Management of various transformation programmes in large organizations such as Sasol, De Beers, Xstrata, Exxaro, MPSA, Arab Financial Services and National Bank of Kuwait. She also Reuphillan held roles as Component Manager at Absa, responsible for the IT strategy and implementation of the Group’s Contact Centres and various positions in Finance, IT, HR, Contact Centres and Customer Relationship Management.

Reuphillan holds a PhD in Organisational Behaviour from the University of Pretoria and a MBA from Unisa. She is a part-time Faculty member (lecturer) for the Executive MBA Programme at Walden University and Supervisor for the MBL programme at Unisa Business School (SBL).

A career founded in the Military and on extensive leadership, military and operational security experience in Angola, Namibia, Mozambique and Afghanistan, has provided Mr Truter with acute awareness and skill in security issues.

Extensive field operations and achieving mostly exceeding grades on the International Security Management Institute’s Certified Security Management Professional Level 6 Diploma course, contribute further to Jan’s broad profile of skills. this experience extends to Business Development activities in Mozambique; where he contributed to the empowerment, security and commercial viability, through the establishment of de-mining companies

Jacques Erasmus

Business Development and Projects

Jacques has more than 20 years’ experience in the security industry, he has experience in the construction industry, retail and mining in Africa.

Jacques started his career in the South African Police Service. He has had various small, entrepreneurial businesses as well as various positions within the Security and other Industries. Jacques’ most recent position at Zim Mang Ores as Operational Manager brought together his skills in handling multifaceted hands-on tasks (e.g., liaise with local tribal chiefs, explore alluvial AU sites, establishing camp sites).

His ability to communicate, negotiate and build relationships across multitude of cultures is a strength at an Operational level that creates an efficient and effective environment.
